General Discussions/Solving Sessions
- The main part of the meeting was spent breaking up into smaller groups to discuss Linux problems.
- The new LILUG wiki was also demonstrated by Mark Drago, who has done most of the major development on the site.
Group Business
LILUG Taping Committee
- Jason announced that LILUG was looking for non-government volunteers to become part of the new LILUG Taping Committee. We're looking for people who can operate the video equipment during meetings and then do the editing afterwards. More information will be published on the LILUG general mailing list
2006 Financial Statement
- LILUG is filing a Form 990-EZ with the IRS for the first time. Matt Surico, LILUG Secretary, and Jason K, LILUG Treasurer, went over the figures for the 2005 fiscal year. The full set of forms that were filed will be posted to the website, but here is a summary:
- Opening Balance (cash/bank account) = $837.09
- Total Donations = $1159
- Total Expenses = $979.28
- LILUG profit = approximately $180
- LILUG Net Worth = approximately $1000
