Group Business
LILUG Security & Infrastructure Special Interest Group
- Official formation of the LILUG Security & Infrastructure Special Interest Group (LILUG SI-SIG) was announced. It will be held on the last Thursday of each month at 8 PM at the Borders in Farmingdale (near CompUSA). In the first meeting, there will be a discussion about the future of network security (VPN vs. SSH tunnelling vs. other technologies like Kerberos).
LILUG Bank Account
- As a result of our being a not-for-profit organization, we were able to set up a bank account at HBSC! Treasurer Jason Katz and Secretary Matt Surico are the names currently associated on the account.
