- Matt Surico - MIDI on Linux
- LILUG Secretary Matt Surico gave a talk about MIDI under Linux. Matt described his own history with musical technology, and detailed the plan to build a mobile digital audio workstation (DAW) using OpenSource components. He explained MIDI, then did a live demo with fellow LILUGer Chris Merlo (who plays the Chapman Stick) in which they recorded bits of music into the Rosegarden sequencer.

- Mark Drago - Luminocity
- Mark Drago, LILUG vice-president, demonstrated Luminocity, which is a very cool technology allowing for "Wobbly Windows".
