Next Meeting
- LILUG President Matt Newhall reminded all that there will be nominations for President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer at the next general meeting. Our next meeting will also be the Linux Distribution Discussion Panel. RedHat will be a no-show, Caldera will definitely be there. Representatives from Debian and VA Linux are hopeful.
Special Activity
LAN Party
- Matt Newhall began with a quick overview of networking basics. The group then split up into two halves and each side of the room hooked up their PCs to a hub and became a LAN. We had a Linux box acting as a router to bridge the gap between the two subnets.
